Why are these activities important?
Nursery rhymes, rhymes, poems and songs
They help children develop language, train memory in the form of play; if we then add movement to it, children often memorize even better! Even with foreign language! Songs are therefore a good tool for motivating children!
Your voice matters to them
When they are very young, then, and you are the parents who tell them, children can understand nursery rhymes very well thanks to the simple, repetitive and very reassuring rhythm! However, children don't care to understand all the text, what counts for them is your sweet voice as you sing or tell them a nursery rhyme, a song or a lullaby!
